Myrtle Beach, SC (2012)
Another short weekend trip... We camped (in a tent) at the Myrtle Beach State Park. We were walking distance from the beach and did our best to spend most of our time IN the ocean.
It was a beautiful weekend.
Saturday night we had dinner at The Patio and treated ourselves to flounder and hushpuppies. Music danced around us and we could see the ocean off in the distance. Some moments you hope to never forget...

Louisville, KY (2012)
This was a short weekend trip taken for the main purpose of seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers in concert. The concert was fantastic! DC and I were able to stay long enough to poke around Louisville. We now love Louisville...KFC Yum! Center/Red Hot Chili Peppers
Downtown Louisville
I found the 21c Museum Hotel online before we left for our trip. It was exciting to visit it in person. We were also able to visit the Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum where we were able to get a genuine Louisville Slugger for Gabe.
Bardstown, Louisville
Bardstown is much like the "Old City" in Knoxville, TN - A very cool area with several funky little stores... Right up our alley. The last picture is the entrance way for an awesome little vintage shop, 'Acorn'.
